The fit is secure but not too tight, achieving a balance that suits a variety of ear shapes. As a good seal is key to the sound experience, the wide selection of ear tips was appreciated.

The Beyerdynamic Amiron 300 deliver a detailed audio experience for commercial earbuds. Equipped with 10mm dynamic drivers, they excel at subtle nuances in the midrange. Although the bass was less than I prefer for earbuds, they responded to EQ adjustments well. Here’s a breakdown of their sound characteristics:
Treble
The Amiron 300 handles high frequencies with clarity and precision. The treble is crisp without being overly sharp, allowing instruments like cymbals and high-pitched vocals to shine without causing listener fatigue.
The finer details in the treble are well-represented and make for an engaging listen.
Midrange
The Amiron 300 buds excel in the midrange response. Vocals and instruments come forward in the mix. Guitars, pianos, and solo instruments are rendered with natural warmth and presence.
If you’re a spoken word/podcast person, I would highly recommend these buds. The clarity in the midrange outperforms most earbuds, making it easy to understand even at a low volume in noisy places.
Bass
The bass response is where these buds fall short of the competition. Because IEMs and earbuds have a harder time providing a satisfying bass experience, I generally prefer about 6 dB more in the sub-bass region (20-60 Hz) on earbuds.
That said, the little bass that is present in the response of the Amiron 300 is controlled. With a slight EQ boost from 20-70 Hz, the Amiron 300 responded quite well, and I really started to enjoy their sound experience.
Connectivity
The Beyerdynamic Amiron 300 earbuds run on Bluetooth 5.3, providing a reliable and efficient connection. In fact, these were some of the fastest connecting earbuds we have ever tested. Tested with iOS and Android devices, connecting was truly seamless on first-time connections and remembered devices.
In addition, the range and connection strength of the Amiron 300 performed reliably in our tests over typical Bluetooth distances.
With multipoint connectivity, these earbuds can link to two devices at once, making it easy to transition between, for example, a phone call and audio on a laptop. They support various codecs, including SBC, AAC, and LDAC, which is particularly useful for those interested in high-resolution audio.
In comparison, the Amiron 300 definitely holds its own among competing earbuds. These buds top the AirPods Pro 2 in this category, which still operate on Bluetooth 5.0 and lack support for high-resolution codecs like LDAC.
Noise Canceling
The Beyerdynamic Amiron 300 earbuds feature adaptive Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) designed to adjust to varying ambient sounds. While they effectively reduce consistent low-frequency noises, such as the city rumble or a bus engine, their performance against irregular or sudden sounds isn’t on the level of some competitors.
For instance, models like the Sony WF-1000XM5 or the AirPods Pro 2 have an edge over these in high-frequency attenuation.
To hear your environment, double-tapping either earbud will switch you to transparency mode.
Overall, we thought the Amiron 300 have solid noise-canceling performance for everyday use.
Battery Life
Battery Life of Popular ANC Earbuds Compared
The Beyerdynamic Amiron 300 earbuds have a solid battery life. Beyerdynamic states that the Amiron 300 offers up to 7 hours of playback with ANC on a single charge, and the charging case adds an extra 19 hours, bringing the total battery life with ANC activated to about 26 hours before needing a recharge.
In our tests, we found this to be fairly accurate. At 70% volume, from a full charge to empty, the buds alone lasted 6 hours and 35 minutes.
This extended battery support means you can use the earbuds over several days without plugging in the case, which can be helpful for travel or on busier days.
There’s also a fast-charge feature—15 minutes in the case provides around an hour of listening time, which can be useful if you need a quick boost before heading out.
Calls
For our call tests, we tested in normal and windy conditions.

Final Thoughts: Are the Beyerdynamic Amiron 300 Worth It?
All in all, we liked these earbuds. You’re getting premium build quality, excellent treble and midrange clarity, and reliable Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity with multipoint support.
They excel with detail resolution – this is where they stand out. Although the out-of-the-box tuning offers underwhelming bass and there are better noise-canceling buds out there, we think you would be pleased to own a pair of Amiron 300 buds.
